Dear all,
I’ve been thinking recently about consolidating our websites. Currently we have www, doc and trac. I was thinking that maybe it is confusing for people when the information is split and located at different places. What do you think?
Next thing is how do we merge them together? The www site contains general information, links to the official releases and Source Talk. The Doxygen generated documentation is located at doc. Open tickets and committed revisions are tracked by trac.
I have trouble figuring out how and where to manage the documentation. Trac has a built-in wiki, which makes writing and editing docs very easy. But we also have the source code docs where we also have some docs about installing, building Calitko, coding conventions, etc. So what do you think? Should we keep only low level design documentation at doc.calitko.org and keep all the tutorial-like docs at trac’s wiki? But then it would be nice to have the tutorials as part available for download as well…
Maybe someone would have some ideas!
Regards,
Peter
