Hello everybody,
Just one day online trac and it was down already :-). Well, that’s not too bad. It seems some or multiple URL caused trac (probably through the trac+bzr plugin) to exhaust the memory of the system. Good that trac is still running on a separate server, otherwise www and doc would also have been down.
Please let me know if some of you guys knows which URL caused the problem!
I guess I should very soon migrate to apache2 and run trac using mod-python - that should be a much more stable solution than tracd.
Bo, to your question, I think it is OK to be able to modify the owner. This way you can assume ownership to some ticket and start working on it. All tickets must be assigned to someone and it can be configured who is the default owner of each component. The owner is notified by email and could reassign the ticket so somebody else. The email notification is not working yet because I still need to install a patch that allows extracting also the emails from the users database of Source Talk.
I’m looking forward to any further suggestions or ideas!
Best regards,
Peter
