Thanks mate. I learned a lot from these discussions… Peer review rocks ;-)

Dear Calitko Developers,
In the beginning of each month I do write a post about what progress have been made in the previous month. I used to title the post “X new developers in Month” so let’s start with the fact that in November we had 14 new registrations. It turned out two of these belonged to the same guy who, for the first time in the still quite short history of Calitko Project, requested his account(s) to be deleted. Well, people come and go! As it turns out he wasn’t really interested in the project and registered just to be able to write a post in reply to one of the discussions, which he didn’t do anyway…
Speaking about discussions, we had quite some in November – a total of 150 posts! Most of these were posted by Atul and me. I don’t know whether you followed all of them but we had really fruitful discussions and I can confirm I learnt quite a lot from them! Thanks Atul! It’s amazing how far we can go starting from one idea, building upon it with another idea, changing direction with yet another one and so on. Peer communication and review is an awesome thing! I’m hoping for more people taking part in Source Talk in December!
I became quite confident that Calitko will not only look beautiful from the inside (its source code and design) but also from the outside (its GUI). Thanks to Valeriy and Lev did some good improvements to the GUI in November and I hope they will keep up the great work in December.
In November work for adding support for Kad (eMule’s DHT) in Calitko was started. Thank you David! I think that’s a great initiative because it will add value to the project by both adding support for a new protocol and verifying the quality and correctness of our protocol abstractions. It’ll be great if someone takes on adding ICQ support in December!
Thanks to all who are participating in the discussions but I did not mention explicitly here. Thanks to all who are studying Calitko and are getting ready to actively contribute to Calitko in December!
Best regards,
Peter
